But you don’t have to leave to have fun – everything you need for entertainment is in the house: lots of board games, a fully equipped renter's closet, streaming TVs, and an over-sized 30' long pool, spacious outdoor deck area and shaded lounge area just waiting for you to cool off in after a long day at the beach.

“Resting Beach Face” boasts views of the Atlantic Ocean from the sun deck! There is parking available for six or more cars for all of your guests to join the fun. This oceanside home is just steps from beach access. Resting Beach Face will check all of the boxes for your annual vacation at the OBX! We rented the house for a week at the end of September. The tropical storm had just passed but the weather permitted us a few sunny beach days. The house was well decorated, clean, and a nice proximity to the beach. We had 6 adults and 2 children in the house comfortably. The steps were challenging after a long day but I guess all houses have the steps. We had a nice week.

Our entire family, 3 adults and 4 kids loved this house! In all of our years coming to the Outer Banks for vacation this has been our favorite house by far! The kids absolutely loved the pool! House was clean, fully stocked and we will definitely be returning again in 2024!

This property was great for our family with six adults and three young children. The beach was just a five minute walk from the house and was never crowded. We loved coming back and hanging out by the pool or under the house in the shade. The property had plenty of beach chairs for our family. The living room and dining room area was spacious and the house was fully stocked and clean. Our only suggestion would be to add towel hooks on the back of the doors or in the bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again!

Nearly everything in the house is the cheapest version possible. Beds are hard, dressers are nearly falling apart, shower heads are below builder grade, appliances feel cheap.<br/><br/>I had to fix the wiring on several tvs when I arrived in order to get the audio and video to work.<br/><br/>Also the first night there, a cockroach walked over my wife's foot. Needless to say, we were not pleased.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay.
If a phone call would have been made our Maintenance men would have come out to fix anything you needed.
With the TV, unfortunately some families allow their children to move the HDMI cords for their PlayStation or other game consoles.
The home is under a Pest Control Plan and gets sprayed monthly.
In damp weather the Palmetto bugs do swarm. Here again, we are always a phone call away and would have addressed the issue promptly.
Most people find this home pleasant and cozy and give great reviews.
I am sorry you did not. We’ll be happy to help you find a more suitable home for your next vacation.

We just returned from our vacation, this house is perfect.........Location is great, pool is amazing, the supplies for renters to use are a nice touch, from the beach chairs to the pool toys.........The Carolina Shores staff couldnt have been nicer, any questions we had were handled quickly..........Thanks for a great week at a great house.....We will rent it again

This is our second year at RBF and we have fallen in love with this home. The house is perfectly located right next to a beach where there are not many people on the beach, you have wonderful updated amenities throughout the house and there is a pool! We could not ask for a better home to spend our summer in and build memories with our family!

First of all, this house has 4 bedrooms. The 4th was recently added, I was told. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. The kitchen was well-equipped; the pool was wonderful; there was a closet with lots of beach and pool accessories; the beds were comfortable; there were several convertible ottoman beds that added flexibility for sleeping options; the owners brilliantly used black shades in 3 of the bedrooms to block the bright morning sun; the location was great, a quick and easy walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay!

It was great. Loved the house. Absolutely loved the pool area and area under the house to be able to catch that nice breeze coming from the ocean. The only negative experience was with the pool guy that came and was very rude to us. Management company was very nice when I called concerned. Other than that, I would definitely recommend the house to anyone! Great location, great set up, and just all around great house!

This was our second year in this cottage and it is very nice. My only suggestion is to add an awning over the front deck. Hard to sit out front in the morning heat with no protection.

Resting beach face is a great beach house. It was clean, spacious, and a good location. The pool was our favorite part. It’s a really nice pool with different colored lights for night swimming. The hot tub was also very nice. The beach was about a 5 minute walk and you can see the ocean from the balconies even though it’s not ocean front. The only thing I could complain about is the stuff growing in the yard. It had these little spiked balls growing on them and they were incredibly painful if one stuck in your foot. Sometimes they would blow onto the patio or into the pool which was a pain. But all in all, not a big deal. I would suggest this beach house to anyone looking.
